"this pine shelving is absolutely brilliant. ive bought pine shelving from a major diy chain in the past which was a bit flimsy, but this is really strong and so simple to put together. plus the quality of the pine is fantastic.i was going to paint it but i think i will varnish it because it looks so nice."

"After finally getting the unit......no one could find one anywhere in stock.....I had to have help to put it together, no way would I have been able to do it myself. And it does concertina, not very strudy or safe without being fixed to the wall. BUT, lovely pine, makes the bedroom smell fresh, and VERY good value for money."

"bought 2 of these to go alongside 2 similar shelf units that i bought elsewhere. Although similar in price, the Wickes ones are 1000 times better. Sturdy, heavy and easy to put together. Thinking about taking apart the other 2 to use as spare wood and buying 2 more Wickes ones."

"I bought this to fit inside my teenage sons wardrobe (who refuses to hang anything up!). It's a very solid construction (not at all wobbly like others I have bought previously from elsewhere) with notches to make sure the shelves don't 'concertina'. It fitted together like a dream! Yes, my unit is hidden away, but with a coat of stain or varnish would look quite at home on display, i.e., doesn't look as though it belongs in a garage! Thank you Wickes."
