Pros: seals a multitude of leaking pipes
Cons: don't use for drinking water

"If you have a leaking threaded connection than this tape can save you a fortune in plumbers fees.

I have used it to seal waste pipes, central heating pipes, and to stuff glands in outside taps.

Not suitable for use on drinking water supply pipes."
