Pros: next day dilivery.
"Good stuff. Silver on one side only. Does full length of small detached house roof space. I stapled to roof joists. Easy to put up. Brightens loft space due to reflecting light. Wife says looks like the inside of a spaceship now. Stops dust falling from roof. Next day dilivery from Wickes. Polite carriers. Arrived well packaged and perfect condition. Text to tell me of arival day. Also e-mail to inform of dispatch. Wickes OK to deal with. Would use again."

"This was easier then i thought to put over the rafters in my loft to exclude the draughts from the holes in the roof lining.
I used about 6 rolls in total for a 3 bedroom mid terrace.It was very easy to staple to the rafters.One roll covered a whole width and a half across.I used about 2 rolls of duck tape to go over the joins.I would definately recommend this to anyone wanting some extra insulation at rafter level.It took a good afternoon to do, and i did have some help too!
I ordered this online and it came the next day so the service was excellent too.Ordered too many rolls so just took the extra ones back to the local store for a refund."

"This product is easy to use and install. It cah be stapled in place over studwork or roof beams without cutting to fit between the timbers. Ceiling or Wall panels can then be screwed in place over the top of the foil. IN this way air can circulate behind the foil for ventilation to avoid condensation, with the foil providing excellent heat reflecting as well as insulation from the cold."

"Purchased 9 rolls of Wickes mineral loft insulation encased in plastic film . Had to reject 2 deliveries as the plastic (easily torn) was badly shredded thereby exposing the fibrous wool. Customer service excellent in eventually providing an acceptable product. Now to the good part - it was easily laid and cut, and (if or) when we get cold weather we should definitely feel the benefit. And it was 'bogof' so exceedingly good value!"

"We have an old house with no felt lining under the roof tiles. Consequently the plaster from the bottom of the tiles is constantly crumbling making the loft a dirty and unpleasant place even after boarding it. This stuff seemed to be the cheapest possible solution and it was so easy to fit. We used 12 rolls to cover our 3 bed semi and are delighted with the results. It probably won't do a great deal to our heating bills but as a cheap top up it is ideal."

"I used this to insulate my shed. Easy to use and seems to have done the trick - I just stapled it to the wooden battens, then screwed mdf board on top. Very reasonable price."

"High,
just noticed the thermal insulation foil quotes a cost of approx £1.70 per meter. However it actually comes out at £2.74 per meter since the role is only 0.6m width.
Better off getting larger 50m rolls, cost comes down to approx £1.9 per meter then."

"It's clear plastic bubble-wrap with an aluminium foil sheet stuck on one side. It works well as a radiator reflector, and can make a useful difference if you put it on airing cupboard walls - avoiding air vents though. It is not suitable for any type of loft or tank insulation."

"I purchased a similar product to this whilst on buy one get one free from Homebase. The product is now £34 !!, This Wickes version is 90% the same for a fraction of the cost. Plus order at 4:30pm yesterday arrived 2pm today with free postage, brilliant service Wickes"
