Pros: ease of use Cons: a tad expensive
"These are very easy to fit and make a neat job. The panels are easily cut to the correct width for rafter spacings and it took very little time to get the job done."

Overhead insulation made easy,

Pros: a knife is the only tool needed. Cons: not cheap even at £5.03 a pack.
"This is an extremely easy way to improve the look and comfort levels of a loft space. Used to reduce heat loss from within and solar heat gain from outside, the loft space can then be used (with addition of flooring) for hobbies etc. The panels have a series of very deep slots running along their length that are cut to match the panel to the width of the rafters. The remaining slots provide compressability so the panel can be squeezed concertina-like between the rafters and the tension induced holds the panel firmly in place. No tape, glue. tacks or anything else required. A clever, neat, simple and effective design. As the slots are 40mm deep, there is only 20mm of foam to cut through. When installed flush with the rafters, the effect is of a tudor framed building and looks extremely smart, far better than the product photograph in the Wickes website."
