Pros: long film good for tall windows

"I use this product for second season now and has worked well.
Ideal solution for old flats with bad windows. Saved a great deal of money over the winter.
Easy to apply, just read the manual. When applied properly, nearly indivisible on the window, until you touch it.
Great product, for tall windows in old flats, as the film is nearly 4m long."

Carbon Reduction, 18 November 2008

Pros: carbon reduction
Cons: tape not strong enough

"We ordered this product to try and reduce the draughts from two sash windows. Replacing them in a listed building would be so expensive and we don't really mind a draught in summer. Although fiddley to put up the end result is really good. Unfortunately the tape that came with the film did not hold up but white gaffer tape round the edge does! Over all, a cheap, easy and effective way to reduce our carbon footprint!"

Not enough tape, 02 November 2008

Pros: easy to install
Cons: insufficient fixing tape supplied

"I bought this product to double glaze the windows at my Mum's old Victorian house. The film is easy to install and seems good value (although £5.95 was a high price to pay for P&P). The problem is, after just two panes of the lounge window I had already run out of the fixing tape. I still have about two thirds of the film left, but no tape to fix it with so I've emailed Wickes customer services in the hope that they can supply more tape."
