"This product is excellent value for money BUT Wickes do not sell replacement blades. You will need to go to another supplier. Big dissapointment"

"The other reviews were helpful. I wanted a shredder that would take more than a matchstick and this one has come up trumps! It does exactly what it says on the box."

Pros: good value, robust, does what it says on the tin
Cons: bit noisy
"This shredder was a great purchase. Having neglected an area of shrubbery for a couple of years, found it was being overrun by brambles, over eager climbing roses and saplings. At under £80 with free speedy deliver, this shredder has reduced the waste to a less than a couple of wheelie bins - all at half the cost of hiring a skip.
The resulting shredded waste is quite fine - I would imagine anyone wishing to compost would be happy. Certainly considerable finer that indicated in some of the reviews for the 2500w shredder. Instruction book also states shredded material can be passed through the machine again - haven't tried this, but would imagine the it would be little more than heavy weight/course sawdust after a second shredding!
Did have to strip branches to pass through feeder, but having done this everything passed through without problems - no jams even to the maximum 40mm, although brambles passed through a little sluggish.
