JUST WHAT I NEEDED FOR MY BATHROOM, 16 November 2008

Pros: very easy to fit this hard-to-get size., excellent value for money.
Cons: pre-drilled holes and instruction sheet.

"Since having my bath removed and a walk-in shower fitted, the original door would not fit as there was not enough room for it to open fully. So I did an internet search and came up with this very hard-to-get 27" bi-fold door. The only complaints I had was that the pre-drilled holes which take the pivot pins were not quite big enough. Consequently the pivot pins were difficult to get in. Also the printed instructions/hardware list was shredded with being in direct contact with the hardware, so it was extremely difficult to read properly. The pictures of the hardware were so dark as to be almost undecipherable. A good idea would be to pack the instruction sheet separately. Apart from these two things, I fitted the door myself in just over half an hour - and I am a sixty nine year old lady!"

Pros: easy to fit, works well
Cons: hinge pins might not last well, hinge pin holes were not big enough

"very easy to fit, 10mins max. the holes for the hinge pins were not big enough and the wood split slightly so watch out for that. The hinge pins themselves are a bit flimsy but the door slides smoothly regardless."

Good Folding door, 13 August 2008
By Andy101 from Ipswuch

Pros: quick to fit cheap hard to find size., primed and ready to paint.
Cons: finishing on drilled holes.

"Good looking interior bi fold door with hard to find size (27" span). Only grumble is that the finishing of the drilled holes (for fittings) was messy and had splintered up. Not a problem when the door is fitted."

best purchase, 05 July 2008
By joke from wales

Pros: good size solid good quality

"the bi-fold doors are very solid and look perfect in our small bedroom. they have made a small room look a lot bigger by not having to open the door into the room. we now have room for a small wardrobe where the old door used to be. other bi-fold doors we have looked at have been flimsy and have been too large. the smaller size of these doors suited us perfectly."

Pros: easy to fit
Cons: gap in the middle

"Cheap and an effective item. Easy to fit and handle. If using in a Bathroom/Toilet requires a centre trim to cover gap."

Good solution for a small space!, 25 June 2008
By nikki from Nortthamptonshire

Pros: cheap, good size
Cons: gap

"This is a no frills bi-fold door but at a very good price (another well known DIY supplier wanted over £100 for the same door) It takes up very little space and I have added a small piece of trim on one side that covers the gap in middle of door. It is also over paintable. Delivery was also very quick as this is a non stocked item"

OK product, poor privacy, 08 April 2008
By Zilly from London

Pros: works well
Cons: poor privacy

"This door is reasonable quality but the instructions did not match the actual fittings supplied. Not too difficult to work out though for your average DIYer. The main problem is that you can see straight through the gap between the two panels so think twice before using in a bathroom or toilet."
