"The door was bought to match an existing door in our first house purchase, and it's made such a difference. Delivered with minimum fuss by 11am the following day. Excellent additional phone service. Dad always said Wickes were good"

"Really pleased with the quality of the door. Really represents value for money. Peal off plastic on glass ideal for those of us who are not great at cutting in. Bought door to compliment Newland French Doors and room now looks stunning!"

Good for the Wonga,

Pros: good looks good value
"Bought 2 of these doors and what can I say there are bang on the money. I can't find anywhere that does this type of door for any where near what wicks are charging. The paint peel thing is good. i was unlucky some of the protective sheet was missing on 1 of my doors but no big deal. I would'nt say that there were well finished, (it does actually state that there unfinished in there ad) most edges are sharp and need to be sanded also theres small gaps where the joints on the glazing bars meet. If you want to get a really good finish, spend an hour filling and sanding and you will have a nice looking door for a great price. I would by another no probs."

A great value glazed door,

"These doors are one of our best buys over a long renovation project . They are great value for money and they look super painted white. So easy to paint too - no need to mask up the glass just peel off the film when you've finished painting. We have them in our kitchen, utility and downstairs loo. With privacy film on the glass it lets the light through but means you have total privacy in the loo!"

We have replaced 3 doors leading into our hallway and it has transformed it by making it so much lighter. Very Happy Customer"

Newland Glazed Doors,
06 June 2008
By captain

"I used two Newland Doors to seperate the Dining area from the Lounge area in my daughters home - part of the longer term updating of her 100 year old house.
The doors easy to work with, had no bow whatsover and, most importantly - the style two thirds glazed/one third wood panel gave the right effect of seperate room whilst letting in a good amopunt of light.
Good value for money !!"

Favourite Glazed Doors,

Pros: paint & peel saves time and money, doors are very well finished, attractive design
"I recently replaced the panel doors to the living rooms in my bungalow, and installed internal Newland Pine glazed doors. They are beautifully finished, didn't need any further sanding or preparation. Sold as ready to paint or stain, they really are exactly that. No need to waste time or money on masking tape, the paint and peel system works wonders. In no time at all, the doors were undercoated, then a Satin top coat applied (2 coats), Wickes brass door furniture to finish. When completed, this simple door replacement has greatly enhanced the property."
