"Bought this for a specific cut I required and was disappointed that the supplied blade bent on the 1st piece of wood I was cutting. The laser was off as well. That said I only got to use this for a day as my brother in-law borrowed it. I'm sure replacing the blade with something of better quality would improve this Jigsaw. It does at least feel good to hold (which is the reason why I chose it in the store). I have since bought a Makita jigsaw because I got fed up waiting to get this one back. I will keep an open mind about reviewing this saw as I only used it once and can't tear myself away from using the Makita which Wickes now stock (and annoyingly it's cheaper than the same model I bought elsewhere!)."

Pros: none
Cons: very poor tool
"This is an extremely poor product. It does not cut straight and has difficultly in cutting a worktop which is what most diyers need. Laser is pointless as saw will not follow that line. Blade supplied is worse than useless.
Although cheap it has cost me alot of money as it has ruined my worktop.
My advice do not buy.

Cons: blade supplied is useless
"I had great difficulty following the cutting line and went off course, spoiling my worktop. Discovered that the blade was bent. The single blade supplied seems to be too soft. I would have been better off using a hand saw."

Pros: solid construction
Cons: no sure if blade clamp will last with constant use
"Surprising good quality my first Wick power tool. I have used it quite a bit in a house renovation project and it is holding up. Good value and has many features more pricier models lack."

"I bought this as a 2 for 1, the blade attachment is not the more usual bayonet type fitting & requires some care to get it square. It seems well made and for the price is certainly as good as more expensive jig saws for DIY use. As with all tools for frequent serious or trade use a professional model would be the choice."
