"Having read the other reviews I decided to purchase this shreader, expecting it to be sort of ok.
Setup was simple and within a short period of time I was shreading... 40mm branches, dead brambles, green brambles everything I could throw at it.
Only one jam of the cutters, a couple of blocks on the exit chute - but besides this, this shreader spent 4 hours in one afternoon working a treat.
For once spending half the price seems not to have delivered cheap problems!"

Pros: value, simple design, does what it says Cons: sometimes blocks up, noise
"I have a largish garden, so I got the shredder to avoid endless trips to the tip. Also my car was turning into mobile insects nest. I have had the shredder for a year now and it still works fine. It prefers dry wood as it can and does block up with green stuff, easily unblocked though. The design is simple to the point of being a bit brutal as the rotating blades chop the wood, but it certainly does the job. It takes time to get through a large pile of prunnings but you do end up with some useful chippings. Wish I hadn't put off getting one for so long."

Pros: blockages are easily cleared Cons: tends to block if green matter not completely dry., power supply lead short.
"This shredder, is by far the best value for money, that I've seen. Half the price of any other of similar spec. 2500Watt & 40mm shredding diameter. It works very well, on both branches and leaves. Simple and clear instructions made it quick and easy to assemble and safe to use. It is compact and light enough to transport ( when assembled) in the boot of my car ."
