Edmonton Soft Close Drawer 500mm

White panelled unit with three drawers. Button handle. Metal drawer box with 15mm thick bottom and backpanel with side mounted roller runners and adjustable brackets. Durable and easy to clean. Quality and styling at affordable prices. Adjustable legs for uneven floors. Plinth available as a finishing touch. Sold separately. Supplied with easy-to-follow instructions. White carcass.

Pros: looks the business, lovely soft close motion
Cons: check the runners for burrs before fitting them.
"Took way to long to put together, looks great when finished, but one of the draws wouldn't close as I found out there was 3 burrs on the runner completely stopping it closing. It took some serious hammering with a screwdriver, chisel and closed pliers to flatten them to allow the draw to close. Apart from that, lovely little touch with the soft closing draw's. Really looks the part. overall happy with the product!"

"Really lovely drawer unit. Found it a little difficult to put together, but only because I have never put a drawer unit together before. Looks really good and the soft close drawers work really well."

Cons: better quality chipboard needed.
"We chose the Edmonton range of units due to their neat and clean appearance. The doors in particular are easy care and if one should be damaged then a quick lick of paint will usually cover the damage.
Assembly is fairly straightforward provided you read the instructions carefully and lay the pieces out to do a dry run before screwing them together. We have done a belt and braces job on the main carcases by using a good quality adhesive on all the butt joints before screwing them together. I would recommend doing this as the units are only held together with 4 screws.
The drawer units need to be assembled VERY carefully, especially the drawer fronts.
Any error will show up as a missalignment when assembled or the drawer can jam badly in the base unit. Yes, we did mess one up!
Also the drawer runner bebefits from an extra screw at the front to give a bit more stability otherwise the runner can bend slightly and stops the drawer from closing properly.
The overall quality of the units is quite good bearing in mind that these are essentially budget products. However, I would have preferred a slightly better quality chipboard. It is quite brittle and needs to be handled carefully if any trimming is needed."
