"Bought this loft hatch as the hinges broke off my original hatch.
Fast delivery to my work address, so no long trek to the 'local' delivery depot to pick it up after a 'we tried to deliver your parcel' note etc....
Removed the old hatch and surround and the new on went straight in. Screwed it in with the provided screws, only took about half an hour from start to finish - job done!!
Well made, good quality, nice finish."

"My Old Wooden Loft Door was in need of a serious Update and looking a bit on the shabby side.
My Handyman advised me Wickes were doing Insulated Loft Doors at a very cheap Price, so I ordered one along with a Loft Ladder for him to install for me.
I was most impressed with the finished look and how much warmer the Upstairs landing had become, no more draughts when I stand underneath it now!
It is modern, and being Plastic does not require painting, simple to operate with a secure lock System.
I love the Product and will not hesitate in giving my appreciation to this Product."

Cons: insulation backing very cheap and fragile
"Very easy to fit/install, however cheap polystyrene insulation on back of door is very fragile and chunks easily come of it. Also, when fitted with a loft ladder, the ladder lies against the insulation when down, causing further damage - but on whole well priced and looks good when fitted and closed."

"On purchasing this loft hatch via the website with standard delivery, it arrived promptly and well packaged.
Although a little flimsy out of the box, it was easy to install and looks very good in-situ. It has made a noticable difference to the warmth in my hall, and the built in insulation panel is to thank.
Overall, I am very pleased."

"Ordered this online and received within a few days, very quick delivery. Extremely easy to install, you just have to make sure you leave about 2mm extra for the frame so long as it is not too tight a fit, the reason I say this is I did not have a standard size loft hatch so I had to widen my loft hatch and cut some of the plaster for it too fit, if you do this make sure the frame is not twisted and leave enough room otherwise when you close the hatch it will not line up onto the frame I did have a little bit of ajusting to do on my hatch but on more modern houses the hatch should not have to be modified as the size should be a standard size for the hatch so it should go straight in with no problems. It looks very nice once up and has a good draft seal to keep any heat escaping through it, overall very happy and very good value.*****"

Cons: less insulation than levels specified for attics.
