Pros: easy to install no maintenance Cons: price may be an issue for some
"purchased in late summer 08, it is very easy to install. Fills very quckly with heavy rain, tends to overflow so must ensure it is emptied regularly as possible. saves money for those on water meters, give it few years then reap the benefits."

"excellent kit, but in heavy rain, it seems to keep on filling, so leave plenty of space fo it to cut out"

Best butt buy,
29 July 2008
By critterfrom Wigan
Pros: inexpensive, small footprint, stand & fittings included, easy to assemble Cons: tap may need sealing tape
"Bought two of these as most available spaces too small for a standard 200L version. East to fit - Followed the instructions and haven't found any problems with water level or spillages from the downpipe. Only had a 3/4" cutter to fit the filling hose adaptor - but as the butt wall is relatively thin, a round file soon had it up to size (in fact it made it a snug, screw fit which may have helped it seal better). The filling hose is a very tight push fit. The tap did leak slightly, but a few wraps of PTFE tape around the thread and onto the rubber washer face did the trick. Best value butt I've found anywhere - Highly recommended"

is it any good,
11 July 2008
By stevesroomfrom lincolnshire
Pros: all parts Cons: round pipewith square holes squirt water out., could have a screw lid.
"Well I got this home and found it to have a few floors. One is that if you fit it t the circle pipe the water shoots up the sides and soaks the wall. Also if you fit it like the instructions it will over flow over the lid so fit it like this. a connect the pipe to the water butt then site the butt and hold the pipe straight and connect the diverter and hold it next to pipe. Make sure the hole on the butt and the drain are straight. Or it will backup. When you have fitted it silicone the gaps round the drain pipe if fitted to circle pipe/ Another thing is use plumbers tape on all connections. And screw tape in very hard or it will leak. More updates as i continue."

"Bought this item on a Tuesday and got delivered next day by 9.30am. Great service. This product is superb value for money and comes with all the bits and pieces to collect from a down pipe, 68mm round or 65mm square. Very simple to fit, and should save on my water bill! You will be pushed to find anywhere cheaper."
