"Overall this is a sturdy powerful pump. The foaming lance is a good idea and works well

"Having had a pressure cleaner for a few years, I decided to go for a new model. Looked hard at the Karcher K591 and Halfords were doing a good deal for around £200.
Then I came across this little beauty had mostly good reviews and more powerful than the Karcher and a lot less money.
So I purchased it, I was surprised that it is in kit form but not too complicated.
You have to allow yourself about 1/2 and hour to assemble the parts and stay calm.

All assembled and ready to go, WOW the cleaning power of the head (lance) is just great, I hadn't realised that it cleans in a swirling action - just brilliant. I had a large patio to clean and this model just ate it.
One thing though - the stupid foaming bottle holder is a waste of time, plus the wheel assembly is something you might expect from a childs toy - however, you buy the thing for its cleaning power. Good value for money although a little plasticy.
Also the instructions are very vague you will need practicle skills.

To use I would recomend carrying it or in a wheelbarrow, careful though it is heavy."

"Ordered on line with a discount voucher and arrived within 2 days. Took about half an hour to put together and then nothing totally dead. A quick call to my local store saw a replacement picked up within the hour. Been using for about a month and power is sufficient for all jobs. Didn't realise that the low pressure lance could convert to high pressure and back to low pressure by pulling on the nozzle towards you. Deteregent bottle does need to be heated to get on and the cap is a real pain as its so tight, design could be better. No problems experienced and for the power its really good value especially with a decent discount code."

"Good, machine. The instructions are extremely poor. The guidance on using the foaming lance or the detergent container built into the machine are useless (non existent in the case of the built in detergent container). Other than that it is a powerful machine and great value for money.
It is the poor instructions that let this jet-wash down. Wickes, you really need to get those sorted."

"I've only had a couple of chances to use this pressure washer but it certainly packs a punch. Very good for cleaning the car and driveway.
My only slight problem is that you have to change spout to go from high to low pressure, but it's nothing too bad."

"Not really. If anything more pressure than I needed. Great power for paths and pavings. Maybe not a great idea for the car unless you reduce the pressure a lot! Not the easiest thing to put together. Had to contact technical support with respect to the needle like nozzle hole cleaner. Couldn't spot anything that told me what it was in the so called manual and my mind had been a bit addled after the construction process so was too tired to work it out. There's another attachment that clips into a plastic bottle type thing. Needed a lot of brain power to work out how that fitted in to the overall scheme of things. Couldn't work out (or missed the opportunity by covering the screw hole) how the front panel was attached. So mine doesn't have it attached now. Hope it's not essential! Now I know how to put one of these together I would be confident to do another one.
It's a heavy piece of equipment. I've used a Karcher before (not 160bar) and what used to take 2 days cleaning a patio I did in 90mins. From my experince well worth the money."

"This item was the most powerful I could find on the net at a reasonable price. It does everything it claims to do and is extremely effective as a patio cleaner and car washer.
Its a little bit fiddly to assemble but took about 30minutes only.
The robustnus of some of the parts leaves a bit to be desired, but if you are careful its fine.
Its weakest point is the bottle for detergent. It is dificult to remove the cap without damaging it and it will not sit in its recess on the body when it has fluid in it. But overall its very good and I like it."

"I bought one of these 3 Christmas's back. I used it twice in its first summer then not at all last summer. I've come to use it now and it cuts out as soon as the hose it attached. Maybe this is the kind of product you have to use often in order for it to keep working properly."

"This pressure washer is made by Lavor and aside from a little cost cutting on the plastic casing it is a high quality unit. The parts that really count, such as the pump and accessories are obviously good quality. Mine has replaced an older 600 series Karcher washer, which was only one step down from the top of the range. This washer performs much better with 145bar & 510L/hr continuous output.
The quality of the accessories is a step up from the Karcher ones as all of the lances have brass innards and all of the couplings are made of brass. The hose reel is also very well thought out. The inclusion of a rotating lance for cleaning the patio was a bonus, but for me the most useful accessory is the foamer, which is another quality item and coats my car in a thick layer of foam. I also really like the ability to vary the pressure and the fan shape of the vario lance. It is perfect for foaming and rinsing the car in a fan shape and for shifting brake dust and flies in a point shape. The latter having shifted some baked on brake dust spots from my wife's car's alloys that have been on it for months despite numerous sprays of alloy wheel cleaner.
The only slight criticism I can make is that it took a little assembly, which was no big deal and that the foamer is a little complicated to work out how to fit correctly so that you can turn the foam on and off. The instructions aren't great, but the information is in there though.
I paid £140 for it at my local store and I believe that they have been on offer for as little as £99/£120 before. Either way it was an excellent purchase at £140."

"Some light assembly required. Quite heavy but a bit cheapo in terms of the casing - the foaming lance keeps falling out of its storage clip. Quite powerful though. Not bad value when priced £140 or less. Good value against similar size models from other manufacturers..... subject to a long life of course?."
