Excellent value, 09 January 2009
By wickesbuyer from Edinburgh

Pros: great value for money., fits into boot of estate car with back seats down.
Cons: no hints as to how to climb onto platform., poor construction instructions.

"I used these reviews to select this item and wasn't disappointed. It was ideal for the job. My only issue was the instructions for setting up the stabilisers. The drawings were poor and I wasn't sure if I had built and attached them correctly. I don't believe I was the only customer with this issue! I challenge anyone to try to get up on to the platform once built. You will require stepladders to get on to the platform!"

Pros: excellent build quality, sturdy, wide range of uses

"These are top quality ladders, sturdy and rigid in use and ideal for those hard to reach places at top of stairs etc. Although quite heavy, they are obviously strong and durable and should last for years.
Quick delivery, ordered on Saturday - arrived on Tuesday!
Highly recommended!!!"

Great buy, 14 September 2008

Pros: versatile sturdy and good value
Cons: poor instructions

"Having struggled to think of a way to access the velux window surround in our stairwell we decided to give these a try. Ordered on Sunday, the ladders arrived early on Tuesday. They were well packaged but had poor, fuzzy diagrams as instructions for attaching the stabilisers. We spent ages trying to fathom them out , then telephoned the manufacturer who quickly emailed some detailed instructions which we printed out . All became clear and from then on it was easy to assemble the supports. The ladders were excellent for the task and will prove invaluable around the house and garden. Do please improve the information though"

Best Value Platform, 02 September 2008

"First of all, I liked the way the purchase itself was conducted. The day after I ordered the kit, I could see that it was on its way. It arrived quickly thereafter.
I could see straight away that everything was compact and robust. The assembly instructions are rather sparing, but by working carefully from the illustrations, one person can erect the platform. A larger scale illustration of a stabiliser shackle in situ might be helpful. The platform itself is good and steady even at height.
Overall, I'm very pleased indeed. I'm sure it's a best buy. I only wish I'd bought more of the materials I need at the same time."

Man's Best Friend is his Combi Ladder Deck, 24 June 2008
By Chalky from West Sussex

Pros: inexpensive, lightweight, portable, multiple uses
Cons: none

"This 5 way combi ladder and deck is a must for trimming high hedges, property maintenance, cleaning the caravan, etc. The time saved by covering a large area for hedge trimming for example paid for this item in less than a day. speedy to set up, extremely light weight and portable and yet more importantly extremely robust and well made. You don't need a large van to transport it just recline a front seat of the car and it will easily fit inside without obscuring your vision."
