"The shelves are great, very sturdy especially if more than one is connected together. As others have stated, edges on undersides are sharp, a suitable pair of gloves makes assembly a lot safer."

Pros: simple and easy to assemble
Cons: sharp inner edges on the shelves
"Exactly what I wanted at a very good price. Rigid enough to do the job, with a good finish. However, the shelves have some sharp edges which have to be watched during assembly."

Pros: strong and sturdy
Cons: include something in box to join them together
"I bought the shelving for the garage. The instructions were easy to follow and it took about one and a half hours to assemble three sets of shelves. They are strong and study, and I have been able to tidy my garage. They are so good, I am thinking about buying some more"

Pros: firm and rigid shelving
Cons: a bit fiddly at times during assembly
"The shelving is a good basic product. It takes a little while to assemble (even when you are doing half a dozen units and develop expertise) and getting some of the bolts to locate can be a bit tricky. However, the finished product is rigid on its own, can be fixed to others or to a wall, and takes a lot of stuff!"

Pros: good storage
Cons: metal sharp at edges.
"These metal shelving are very good for storage in garage. However the edges can be sharp, and if i bought again I would definetly choose plastic."

Pros: survived multiple fires at above 400 degrees c, inexpensive
Cons: not quite as high as regular kitchen units, not very attractive
"We used this shelving unit to build a "kitchen unit" for use in several fire tests. We needed structural strength in a fire situation, rather than elegance. It proved highly effective and was cheap enough to leave behind."

"The instructions were terrible. The overlapping didn't work out very well, with some holes larger than others.... Good to have extra nuts and bolts, so i have been able to fix 2 sets of shelves together easily. Overall a good product, just a shame about the instructions!"

Pros: looks good i think
Cons: terrible instructions .
"Like others I got extra fittings ( makes a change from not enough) .The instructions are awful and whoever thought them up wants firing . The first problem was when joining the uprights .Were you to overlap two ( large) holes or three or four .The diagram seemed to suggest you overlapped two on one side but four on the other and that simply is not possible . More words on the instructions are necessary ."

Pros: they look really good when they're finished, if i move house i will disassemble and take them w
Cons: lack of clear instructions
"Excellent shelf unit but as a novice DIYer I would have certainly appreciated clearer instructions. Everything seemed to have a cross next to it rather than saying what you should be doing. The quantities for each part didn't match up (luckily more than stated in all cases) - I bought three units and each pack had 8 boomerang-shaped brackets although the instructions said 4. I wasn't really sure where I was supposed to put them so I just had to guess. By the time I got to the third unit I was quite quick - only an hour and a half! A couple of the shelves were a little dented but not enough to merit an exchange - I'm only using them in the conservatory. I'd appreciate more holes in the back to attach the units to the wall, as the holes don't match up to the struts I want to attach the units to, so I've had to improvise (not having a drill which can go throught the metal.)"
