Pros: clean and easy to lay!, roll fits through small loft hatches
Cons: some dust on outer packing!
"Been looking for top -up insulation for my 3 bed semi for a couple of months.Wickes have had the buy one get one free offer running longer than any other major diy store. Finally, i made my mind up to purchase 26 rolls(only paid for 13),I knew my current insulation in my loft was only 50mm thick and no where near the recommended 270mm. Ordered by phone on 4.00pm thursday, quick and easy, arrived next day 12.00.Fantastic service and great product!"

Pros: very few loose fibres.
"I ordered 14 rolls of Space Blanket on a Thursday, under the 2 for 1 deal so I only paid for 7 of them, and they were delivered for free on Monday. Such a good service and much cheaper than B&Q."

Pros: enclosed
Cons: wraping is a bit over the top
"For adding to existing loft insulation Space Blanket is very good, If you don’t have to move existing insulation there is no need for gloves. Though expect to use a facemask as most roofs tend to be very dusty! All you need is a shark knife to cut where needed (duck tape cane be used to close up cut ends), a board or two to work from and a light to see with. Oh a ladder or steps to get into the roof is more than useful!
With the current 2 for one offer very cheep with free delvery Space Blanket being enclosed slides easily into position and doesn’t leave you with fibbers to get off clothing and skin a massive improvement over uncovered products. Ideal for DIY insulation,"

Pros: easy to lay, delivered by wickes free
"Good quality but the covering tears easily if caught on the joists. Cuts easily with garden shears if needed. It took longer to clear the loft of rubbish than lay it. Worth doing though and leaves a clean finish."

Pros: less dust than normal
Cons: would like it to be wider
"Great product and fairly easy to install, we have a low roof and it was more awkward than on a normal height house. The product took a little bit longer to arrive than stated on the webpage and I lost a days work waiting in for it. I emailed Wickes and asked for a delivery date but got no reply."

Cons: packaging slightly dusty dirty

Pros: easy to cut and position.
Cons: you do need a few rolls of it.
"This insulation is as good as people say it is. With the BOGOF offer its a great deal. Easy to slide between the rafters and under beams because of the slippery nature of the product. Quite satisfying to see the end result."

"With high fuel prices, putting off the job of additional insulation in the loft was no longer an option. Not looking forward to the irritation on my body and clothes. Problem solved with the enclosed Space Blanket, job sorted in about an hour, no mess or ichy skin."

"Bought 12 rolls (6 free) and next day free delivery. Had 24sq m installed in 3 hours. Laid over existing 100mm layer (cross lay). Temperature inside improved 2C within an hour. Has stabilised indoor temperatures dramatically. Don't think about it, just do it, even if you're a moderate diy'er"
