The icing on the cake for Wickes underfloor heat,

Pros: timer and thermostat all in one., cheap at only £25 more than the non programmable., simple to connect and install Cons: none!
"The Wickes range of cable undertile heating systems are the best price/performance you can buy anywhere and so simple to install. Ignore the "pre-prepared" mat based systems which may initially look simple but can be tricky to fit into an exact space. This control box puts the icing on the cake. It is a smart fully functioned timer and thermostat that will ensure you wake up to a toasty floor each morning and then again in the evening when you get home. It will pay for itself in the money you save from only having the floor switched on when you want it. This is also much better than the "manual" non programmable thermostat even though it is twice the cost, it is worth every penny."
