Ideal for lofts and other parts of the home, except in damp and humid areas such as kitchens and bathrooms.. Tongue and groove design for rapid and easy installation.. Smooth finish. Not to be used in living space, consult a builder if using area as habitable space.. Do not use on joists or ceiling ties more than 600mm apart.. Butt joints must be positioned in the centre of joists.. Sits directly on top of space board insulation.. Responsibly sourced and E1 emissions compliant.. CE marked and compliant with EN13986 governing panels for use in construction..

Pros: quick and simple, cheaper than buying sheets of timber.
Cons: some where damaged, dont lay at 600mm spacing - 400mm max
"Great product, three boards per pack seems low, but any more and you would struggle to lift into the loft.
works out cheaper than buying complete boards of 18mm T&G, and saves the time having to cut them.

Only complaint would be some of the boards seemed to have been damaged in transit."

"Brought 15 packs to construct a loft in my garage. Everything was spot on, the quality overall, the ease to cut and shape to size and the packaging was not at all bulky and easy to dispose of in a nearly full recycle bin.

Cons: not as cost effective as the larger panels.
"These chipboard panels are excellent value for money. Used them along with wickes space board which I have just reviewed. Would recommend using both for insulating and boarding small loft areas like I have. Anything larger would have caused problems for me due to the position of my loft hatch. Larger panels would be more cost effective but these were just right for my project."

"A loft panel is a loft panel is a loft panel, not much to say. When you buy enough they are very heavy for the average small car. The big advantage of Wickes loft panels is that they deliver to your door, which none of the other major DIY shops we contacted do. So recommend them without reserve. Just remember if you want to preserve the loft insulation depth, you may need to raise the loft floor a bit, again Wickes can deliver the necessary wood for you. Well done Wickes."

Cons: flat ends - need butting over joists
"These are ok but the ends are flat; you need to butt them over a joist which could mean cutting down to fit. For bigger areas and less wastage get the 2400mm x 600mm panels which have tongued and grooved ends too."

"Used 30+ of these packs to board my loft. The quality was excellent throughout - can't recommend these packs enough. The Tongue & Grooves were well cut on every panel - and the boards light enough for it to be a one-person job. Would recommend getting some knee-pads if you've going to be laying a lot of this stuff!"

"These are a good strong board ideal for the loft.
As they are a small size they are easy to get through the loft hatch and to fit.
Easily cut to take into account joists and pipes etc with a hand saw or jigsaw.
Would be nice if they did a bigger board for larger areas, but we can't have everything !
You do sometimes get a bit of damage on the edges of the boards which makes them hard to fit, but this can usually be removed by hand or with a saw."
